DS TAYMAN
Four whiskies. One story.
DS Tayman is a whisky brand grounded in the traditions of Scottish distilling — with a distinctly modern purpose. Rooted in heritage yet designed to meet the evolving needs of a global kosher market, DS Tayman offers four single malts, each finished in wine casks and certified kosher by multiple authorities. The whiskies are nuanced, refined, and visually bold — bottled in striking blocks of yellow, red, green, and blue.
When Postmodern Productions came on board, the creative challenge was clear:
How do you bring four distinct products into one cohesive story without losing the individuality of each expression?
That question led to the concept:
A monoblocked visual world, where each whisky lives in its own stylized color-coded space — and the bottles pass between them like a shared thread.
The result was a four-scene brand film where each bottle became the centerpiece of a moment:
Yellow (Glen Elgin 12 Year Old) – An office toast in golden daylight
Red (Linkwood 12 Year Old) – A picnic for two, lush and romantic
Green (Blair Athol 12 Year Old) – A candlelit dinner gathering
Blue (Caol Ila 12 Year Old) – A sleek, late-night bar scene
Each world is distinct. But the bottle moves fluidly between them — showing that no matter the setting, DS Tayman belongs.
We shot the entire film in a Brooklyn loft, using vintage Zeiss Super Speed lenses for their soft, cinematic character. The production was a deeply collaborative effort, balancing art direction, prop styling, and performance with technical precision. The goal was to elevate color — not let it overwhelm — and to treat this as a refined consumer story, not just product video.
